Sunday Inspiration: “Laugh When You Can.”

Laugh when you can.
Apologize when you should.
And let go of what you can’t change.
Love deeply and forgive quickly.
Take chances and give your everything.
Life is too short to be anything but happy.
You have to take the good with the bad.

Love what you got.
Always remember what you had.
Forgive, but don’t forget.
Learn from your mistakes but never regret.
People change and things go wrong,
But always remember that life goes on.

Life can be hard. It’s not easy to figure out how to live the way we can and should. But when I think about it, I realize there are clues everywhere for living a better life. Every line is a path that can be taken towards love and happiness. All we have to do is keep walking that path and keep searching.

Where do you find your best clues?

Good morning Emilie, as you mentioned, “walking the path” is my daily wake-up call. It’s a mile and a half around my neighborhood and in that short distance lives a 50 yr. old w/stage 4 colon cancer; a young mother of two who has just endured a double mastectomy (stage 4); a beloved grandfather with bladder cancer; a gentleman with severe dementia; two elderly couples trying desperately to live out their lives in their own home, etc. If I become engaged in conversation with several neighbors and it takes a bit longer than normal for me to return home, my “pocket rings” and it’s my hubby of 57 years wanting to know if this is the day I was planning to run away from home.
I know then that I have whatever it takes to face whatever the day may bring. (sorry for my “wordiness)

I find my best clues from books, Facebook, and by going within and connecting with my Higher Self. I also journal, and I find clues there, also.
