Costa Rica: A Winner in Every Way
If you guessed Costa Rica, you were correct. This particular photo comes from the Mixed Culture website, but I did see the Resplendent Quetzal from a distance yesterday. What a glorious sight. We’ll be home today with great memories of “Best of Costa Rica” from Road Scholar and all the super people we met along the way.

What a beautiful destination & a wonderful way to travel. I have my eye on a Road Scholar trip to Italy. For now, I’ll read books about the places I’d like to visit!
I think that would be right up your alley–or canal if you’re in Venice. Ours was a perfect blend of lectures by fascinating people, exploration of nature and travel. Our guide was terrific. The other travelers were a bonus since they were good-natured, interesting people.
