Who Knew? The Winner is Endless Chain

Endless ChainOn Tuesday I asked you to comment and tell me the title of a book that I wrote with a woman giving birth in a blizzard. Well, no one was more surprised than I was when quilter Shawn almost immediately named Endless Chain as the book. Was I surprised she’d gotten it so quickly? Nope, I was surprised because I’d forgotten that Endless Chain, too, had a blizzard birth. That was not the book I was thinking about when I posted my blog.

So now, if you remember the other book, comment here, and you, too, will be the winner of an autographed novel–if you’re the first to get it right. Remember no purchase is/was necessary. Take a stroll around the internet to see if you can find it. I did and found a description right there online mentioning the blizzard birth, so you can, too.

Meanwhile a copy of Endless Chain is on the way to Shawn. And Shawn, in turn, sent me a stunning photo of an Endless Chain quilt she made using the pattern in my Quilt Along with Emilie Richards: Endless Chain pattern book–that goes along with the novel.

Isn’t this gorgeous? Shawn said I could show you, so here it is for you to enjoy, too. And now I am motivated to get started on my own. I have the pattern, after all, the desire and even a stash of Guatemalan fabrics. What’s stopping me other than time?

Well, that last part? That can be a wee problem. I’m thinking if I start quilting during meal times I can lose weight and gain a quilt. Don’t we call that a win-win?

Blizzard, for sure. But no baby. This is a much older book, but you’re on track with the length.
