Sunday Inspiration: Acts of Kindness

ACTS OF KINDNESS

You know what they say about a picture being worth a thousand words?

These photos are worth at least a million.

When every day we’re flooded with stories of hatred and violence , it’s nice to be reminded that we’re also surrounded by acts of kindness and love. These were put online in memory of those killed in Newtown.

P.S. Do you remember a special act of kindness in your life recently? Would you like to share it with others here?

Good morning Emilie. Garlic knots! Six, still warm from the oven, garlic knots. I recently had a basal cell skin cancer removed from my face, near my eye. My neighbor/friend knew I was anxious about the procedure and the end result. The day after my surgery she had lunch at a mutually favorite restaurant . The door bell rang, I answered and she handed the container to me and said “enjoy.” I did and I believe the garlic, which is supposedly good for what ails you, produced a perfect outcome and the scar is not even noticeable. Who would think such an outpouring of love could be felt from a pan of warm garlic knots.
