Sunday Inspiration: Powerful Women
In honor of Women’s Month and International Women’s Day, I have not one but several inspirational quotes from powerful women about the beauty, wonder, and challenges of being a woman.
“Extremists have shown what frightens them the most: a girl with a book.” -Malala Yousafzai
“Well behaved women rarely make history.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
“Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.” -Oprah
“In politics, if you want anything said, ask a man; if you want anything done, ask a woman.” -Margaret Thatcher

Exactly why we need more women in Political office!!!
Coelle is correct — we really do need more women in elected office. I like the quote: A woman is like a teabag…You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water! (It is incorrectly attributed to Eleanor Roosevelt even though it sounds like something she might have said.)
I enjoyed those quotes. ☺️
I thought that this is wonderful. It is from the blog of the University Press of Kentucky — “There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a third power stronger than both, that of women.” Malala Yousafzai
