Sunday Inspiration: Comfort Zone

comfort zoneMy husband and I are out of our comfort zone right now, traveling to our summer cottage.

Chautauqua Institution, where we spend our summers, is a place known for being “at the end of your comfort zone.” As always we’ll hear controversial speakers, talk about difficult issues, listen to concerts we may or may not be “comfortable” with. At the same time, when we leave in August, I hope our comfort zones will be wider and taller, and that if we’re lucky enough to come back next year, we’ll widen them all over again.

I hope that you’re doing something this summer to expand your own comfort zone, or at least to help you evaluate it. You don’t have to travel anywhere to do that. But sometimes, it helps.

Sunday Inspiration will resume when we’re settled again and our wi-fi is working. I wish all of you an (un)comfortable summer.

Enjoy your summer. Wish I could be there. Chautauqua area is the best place to be always.

Good Advice ….getting out of our comfort zones as it’s so easy to stay ‘stuck’ in a routine. Thanks for the nudge. Enjoy the summer!
