Novelists and Grandmothers
This is grandparents’ week at our cottage.
Instead of writing, blogging and Facebooking, I’m indulging in Super Diaper Baby, Uno, and watching my six year old grandson ride the big yellow bus to Children’s School and then sit quietly at Chautauqua’s historical amphitheater as he takes in ballet and orchestra with a child’s enthusiasm—and longer-than-expected attention span.
I’ll be back next week when Grandson is back in Ohio with his parents, but this week, just call me delighted Grandma.
So fun and uplifting to be around our young grandchildren! Enjoy!
Enjoy. They grow up way too fast. My youngest grandchild is 9 already.
Enjoy your grandchild/grandchildren. Have a great time. Ours are far away too and range from 14, 17, 23, 26.
Enjoy your grandchild/grandchildren. Ours live far away too. They range in age, 14,17,23,26.
Do you know what grandchildren are? The reward for not killing your kids.
It’s amazing how much easier grandchildren are than children, right? I can engender all kinds of bad habits knowing that someone else will have to break them later. 🙂
