Yo Yo Ma, one of the most renowned musicians in the world, spoke here at Chautauqua this week and played his cello along with the Silk Road Ensemble.

A spellbinding speaker, he reminded us that music is a force that can knock down the walls that separate us and bind people from different cultures together.

As someone who studied music and loves it, I can’t agree more.
