“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” -Albert Einstein
Curiosity is one of the most essential qualities for a good writer. Curiosity is what opens the Pandora’s Box of imagination, ideas and creativity.
If we’re not motivated to investigate the wonders that surround us, to discover the possibilities of existence–even a little–then what new insights do we have to give to the world?
I’ve been accused of being overly nosy — which I definitely am. I need to know what’s going on in other peoples lives and the universe I live in. Sometimes that can be a problem. Sometimes that can be irritating–even to me. But despite that, I wouldn’t trade wanting to understand the world and the people around me for any other attribute–or vice.
Are you nosy, too? Do you have a million questions? Einstein says curiosity is the important thing. Who would know better?
