Good morning Emilie. Your quote for today adds a new dimension to the one “it’s easer to ask forgiveness than permission.” There are several names attributed to that quote and it’s written in a number of different ways, but it seems applicable to today’s society more than ever.
This is such a great note. Someone very close to me was terribly hurt emotionally years ago and for the longest time I held anger in my heart. Then I realized I was giving power to those who did wrong and it affected my life. I will never forget what they did, and I’ve given my anger to God forgiving through prayer. I now feel whole again and pity for those who caused the hurt.
That is a brilliant observation and very true!
Martha, and Nancy, excellent points. Who knows where these little words of wit and wisdom come from but they are very timely and oh so true!

This thought really hits home with me. Thank you.
