Sunday Inspiration: Welcome Spring!

Welcome spring“You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.” -Pablo Neruda

Spring has sprung here in Florida — actually a few weeks ago — and I hope that you are least well on your way to the warmth and vitality of this season. Our lanai is filled with pots of cherry tomatoes, salad greens and herbs basking in the sun. Soon enough farther north those green shoots peeking out of the snow will be daffodils and tulips swaying in a warming breeze.

It’s true that you cannot keep spring from coming no matter how long and cold the winter may be. At this time of year I can’t help but feel an inner springtime, a burst of energy, creativity and hope.

I hope your inner springtime blooms and flourishes as well.

Happy Spring to you Emilie. Our best friends from Bemus Point are here for a week to enjoy our Spring. She’s a quilter and he’s a golfer so all is good.

You’re going to have a great time. My youngest son just arrived with my 7 year old grandson from Cleveland. For some reason, they are delighted to be somewhere sunny. You understand that.
