Happy Grandparents Day to everyone who has grandchildren, to those who had grandparents in their lives, and to everyone who has mentored a small child with the love of a grandparent, whether there are blood ties or heartstrings.
Happy Grandparent’s day to you also. A loved child doesn’t always have to be related by blood!
I wish that one of these times I would get a greeting from one or both of my grandchildren but that isn’t likely to happen. I doubt they even think they have a grandparent since it has been so many years since I’ve seen them. But I figure it is their loss and not of my doing.
