Sunday Inspiration: Let there be peace!

“I refuse to accept the view
that mankind is so tragically bound
to the starless midnight of racism and war
that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood
can never become a reality…
I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love
will have the final word.”
-Martin Luther King, Jr.

My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine, who are being ruthlessly attacked by the Russian military. It’s so hard for me to understand the depth of egomania and greed that drives people to use violence against an innocent people.

Or in any way to defend it.

May Putin’s aggression be met by courage and resilience on the part of the Ukrainian people and their allies.

I totally agree, Emilie………….very hard to understand the person who would undertake what Putin is doing after the World has endured 2 years of a Pandemic…..but then it would just has hard to understand even if we hadn’t had ‘enough on our plates’. It’s beyond despicable and my heart, too, goes out to the Ukrainians.

I so agree. This man is evil and needs to know he can’t get away with being a bully. My heart is so very sad and heavy for the Ukrainians. God Bless them.

I so agree with what you wrote. I cannot understand what Putin is thinking or why. Russia is a big country so why does its dictator president want to encroach on a country that wants freedom and peace? It makes no sense.
