Sunday Inspiration: Revenge and Retaliation
Hate begets hate. Violence begets violence. Neither hate nor violence has a place in a life well lived. All around us we see the consequences of both, including last night’s shooting of former president Donald Trump.
We can’t change the world, but we can examine our own hearts and commit ourselves to love. Together we can let go of the need for revenge and move forward to a place of peace.
This is so right on for what is going on in the world today. We all need peace in. our lives and why the people in prominent places don’t see that is beyond me. They seem to delight in destructive everything. So sad.
I am still shaking my head.
We can’t change the world but we can commit ourselves to love. Just think if everyone did!
