In the midst of winter,
I found there was, within me,
an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy.
For it says that no matter
how hard the world pushes against me,
within me, there’s something stronger –
something better, pushing right back.
-Albert Camus
I never thought of it that way, but I pray that I keep my invincible summer with me. I always seem to be at peace within me, and it is a great way to cope with all that goes on each day. Makes me thankful and hopeful too.
I try to embrace whatever season it is but Summer is always hanging out around the edges.
I love Ohio winters but it’s nice to know eventually there’ll be a summer. Kinda like life itself.

Camus has given us a welcome reminder of our innate strength in difficult times.
